Karen Rehn, President & CEO

With over decade of staffing experience, Karen is no stranger to the industry. Her zest for business and desire to leave Wisconsin winters behind led her to purchase Helping Hands Staffing Services. Karen purchased Helping Hands in March of 2009 from the original owner who founded the company in 1988.

The business has evolved and is now known as HH Staffing. With a solid foundation and an experienced management team the company has expanded to multiple locations. Future plans include continued service to valued clients, embracing new prospects and looking for new areas of business in Florida.  In 2013 we will have been in service 25 years.

One of the greatest rewards of working in the staffing industry is the ability to make a real difference in the lives of others, I truly believe that our industry has an obligation to actively contribute to enhancing our communities and improving the lives of our employees.  We make a difference one job at a time.

Stuart Kortie, Partner, Vice President

Stuart is our Vice President and became a partner in 2011. He started with HH Staffing in August of 2009.

He has worked within a variety of industries and has 26 years of Sales and Business Development experience. He has owned his own business in the past, but most recently worked for 8+ years in the staffing industry in San Francisco. There he built relationships with some of the most recognizable names in the business world.

Christa Bass, General Manager

Christa Bass has been promoted to our General Manager as of January 2013, she also leads a team of recruiters for three branches.

Christa brings 23 years of management experience from the Property Management field to HH Staffing Services. She began her career as a Leasing Professional and was promoted over the years to Property Manager. Pinellas County was her home and after getting married, she and husband settled down in the Bradenton area. With her knowledge and experience she will help us expand and grow into other areas of Florida.

Julio Nava, Recruiter

Julio Nava is the recruiter for the Orlando office. He recruits and manages the daily operations.

Julio has BS from California State University Fresno and has extensive recruiting experience in the staffing industry in both the technical and professional fields. He has lived and worked in Northern California, Tennessee and Florida. He is originally from Venezuela and is fluent in Spanish and English.

His priority is to create and maintain long-term relationships with his clients and associates by understanding each of their needs and matching them accordingly.

Yuliya Ugrin,  Recruiter

Yuliya is originally from the Ukraine and moved to Minnesota with her family when she was a child where she lived most of her life. Yuliya studied marketing in St. Paul, MN and also spent a few semesters abroad in an International Business program. Yuliya is truly a people person and has a passion most of all in helping people. In 2010 she decided to move to sunny Florida and joined HH Staffing in February 2011. Yuliya has grown into a wonderful recruiter and is currently working in our professional division.

Leticia Rivera 

I bring over 20 years of experience in management in Banking and Recruiting in the Light Industrial industry and I’m motivated and very passionate by helping people. My priority is to create and maintain long-term relationships with my clients and associates by understanding each of their needs and matching them accordingly. As part of the hiring process I am responsible for the screening and testing of the associates to their appropriate skills. I am fluent in both English and Spanish in which allows me to communicate with all aspects of business.

I work closely with Wounded Warriors to help our Veterans and placement for any job opportunities.

Married with three children one who just finished a tour in Iraq along with my husband who is now a Wounded Warrior.

Originally from New Jersey and settled in the Lakewood Ranch area. A new Member of the Lakewood Business Alliance Group and very excited to have joined the HH Staffing Services Family.

Doris Kiser, Office Administrator

Doris has been with the company since October of 2003. Her duties include receptionist and placement coordinator. She has experience in all aspects of the staffing industry including scheduling interviews, interviewing applicants, filling orders, customer service, and insuring that all the proper paperwork is completed and compliant. She assists in processing bank reconciliations, making bank deposits, a/r and payroll.

Kevin Terrill, Ft. Lauderdale Recruiter

Kevin is our Recruiter in our Fort Lauderdale office. Kevin started with HH Staffing in the beginning of 2012 managing our Hospitality Division as a Staffing Coordinator. He has an extensive background in Sales and the Hospitality Industry.  Kevin brings qualities of dedication, reliability and a passion to reach goals and exceed expectations. Kevin has a proven track record to exceed our candidates and clients expectations. We are excited to have Kevin as your point of contact and know that our Fort Lauderdale office will be a success.

Shari Alexander, Receptionist

Shari Alexander joins our team as a receptionist after a year long association with HH Staffing Services as one of our talented associates. She hails from Charlotte, NC, but has lived in many cities over the years. Her past experience in customer service spans several industry areas which makes her knowledge important for our team. Shari has worked in retail, banking, and in the admissions office for an internationally known Bible College. Shari’s passion is to help people reach and accomplish their goals.  This passion was sparked after she graduated from RHEMA Bible Training Center and King’s College.  Shari’s interaction with students from all over the world has only enhanced her customer service skills.

Shari is very active at her church where she serves at the Information Counter and helps with the Children’s classes.

Ruegger the Recruiter (Blog with the dog)

Ruegger is a 6 year old Boston Terrier who has come to work with his owner most of his life. He brings a wonderful personality and meets and greets most of our visitors. We gave him the title Ruegger the Recruiter you can also blog with dog…or join him on facebook, watch for some funny stories from him or stop by to meet him, he is almost always at work with Karen Rehn the owner.  We are working closely with local shelters to bring awareness to the need to adopt from local shelters.
