Not sure what to expect once you get hired on as an HH Staffing associate? Check out our answers to the most frequently asked questions we receive from job seekers and our associates.
Q: I am on an assignment for a HH Staffing client, who is my employer?
A: Regardless of which HH Staffing client you work for, HH Staffing is always your employer. Your HH Staffing supervisor is your contact for all work assignments or employment issues.
Q: How long does an assignment last?
A: Assignments may range in length from one day to several months or longer, depending on our clients needs. Some assignments are direct hire placements, where you become a client’s employee from day one.
Q: What should I do if my job duties are different than those that were described to me?
A: Please notify your HH supervisor immediately as safety is a concern and/or we may be able to obtain a higher salary if the skill set is more demanding.
Q: What should I do if my assignment has ended?
A: Be sure to let your HH recruiter know when your work assignment ends so we can consider you for a new assignment.
Q: What is HH’s policy if I’m unable to report to work or will be in late?
A: If, for any reason you must be late, or absent from your assignment, notify HH Staffing A.S.A.P. This permits HH Staffing to meet our client’s needs by sending a replacement.
Q: When should I submit my time card?
A: All time cards must be turned in by 9AM on Monday, following the week worked, in order to be paid on Friday of the same week. No exceptions! It is your responsibility to get it to us via email/fax/drop-off. Make sure you and your supervisor sign it in the proper places.
Q: When can I expect to be paid?
A: Payday is the following Friday of the week you worked. (If Friday is a holiday, then payday will be the preceding Thursday). We also offer direct deposit as an option.
Q: What should I do if I am injured while on assignment?
A: If an accident occurs and you are injured while on the job, call your HH supervisor or recruiter immediately. You are employed by HH Staffing and covered by HH Staffing Workers Compensation Insurance.
